Chalk Inks are a multipurpose ink, somewhat of a cross between dye inks and pigment inks. They are not as fast drying as dye inks, but do not have to be heat set on most surfaces. When they dry, they give the illusion, texture and feel of chalk pastels, but will not smudge off or require a fixative for permanence on paper projects.
